Tahlia is stuck in a rut after her engagement suddenly ended. Her two best friends, as only best friends can do, force her out of her house and back into the real world. Their first foray is unlike anything Tahlia has ever attended… a boxing match.

Tahlia meets Lucas, a man unlike any she has ever dated. While she has been in one long term relationship and has always dated a certain ‘type’ of guy, Lucas makes her feel things no one ever has. But, navigating the single girl world is proving to be a lot more confusing then she ever expected.

I enjoyed this book. Lucas is so great for Tahlia, and they have some hot chemistry. While everything is going great, there is of course a twist you don’t see coming! Although Tahlia starts the book very unhappy and lacking self confidence, you can see her gaining it back and growing back into the tough woman she has always been. Great characters, pretty funny and all in all a sweet story.
