Austin Rogers thought she had the perfect relationship… everything was going great until she caught him kissing someone else. Now to pull herself out of her misery, she and her friend decide a little revenge would serve him right…
Thatch Holloway has his reasons for breaking up with Austin. Sure, he could have done it a little nicer, but he was just doing what was best for her… even if he can’t tell her why. Unfortunately for him, she wants to make him hurt as much as he made her hurt… and his best friend might have given her some perfect ammunition…
This book was a fun, heartfelt, and just plain enjoyable read. What starts as a way for Austin to get over Thatch turns into them spending time together and eventually the truth and their feelings for each other start to come out. While more serious than the first in the series, this book is still laugh out loud funny, but with deeper and more nuanced relationships.
The storyline was well developed and moved at a steady pace… and the characters grew and developed right along with it. Fantastic writing with interesting and quirky characters. As usual, a must read from Rachel Van Dyken.
I received a complimentary copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.
