Part Two of the Duet. 5 years and 7 months after Under the Lights.
Mark Fitzhugh has spent a lot of time searching for Lara… and just when he thinks he has her near and will be able to protect her… she vanishes again.
Lara Hale loves Mark and wants nothing more to be with him. But she has unfinished business to attend to… and Mark is too good of a person to be dragged into it.
I really wish I could have loved this duet. The story itself was very intriguing, and the characters were strong and would stop at nothing for justice. While the writing was very well done, the story seemed to drag and didn’t hold my interest all that much. I loved Mark, he is protective and so in love with Lara. I didn’t feel much for Lara and her sister Molly (ugh, Molly)… except I loved that they were some sort of vigilantes and were all about getting rid of the people who had wronged them.
I received a complimentary copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.
